Cancellation Policy
Online Booking Policy — Vet’s Place, Inc. Serving Those Who Served This policy applies to appointments booked through the Vet’s Place website, including case management meetings, counseling intakes, notary services, technology support sessions, and related scheduling requests. By booking an appointment online, you agree to the terms below. 1) Appointment Requests & Confirmation Online bookings may be confirmed automatically or reviewed by staff, depending on the service. You will receive a confirmation by email and/or text once your appointment is scheduled. If staff review is required, your request is not final until confirmed. 2) Eligibility & Service Scope Some services are reserved for veterans; others may include seniors and community members when available. Booking an appointment does not guarantee eligibility for all services. Vet’s Place may request verification when appropriate. 3) Cancellations & Rescheduling We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule: Please do so at least 24 hours in advance when possible. You can cancel/reschedule using your confirmation email link or by contacting Vet’s Place directly. 4) No-Show Policy Even free services require staff time and resources. If you miss an appointment without notice, it may limit your ability to book future appointments online. Repeated no-shows may require booking by phone only. (If you want this softer or stricter, tell me.) 5) Late Arrival Please arrive on time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be shortened, rescheduled, or canceled so we can stay on schedule for others. 6) Required Information Please provide accurate contact information so we can confirm appointments and follow up if needed. If forms or documents are required for your service, you may be asked to complete them before the appointment. 7) Notary Appointments For notary services: You must bring a valid government-issued photo ID. Do not sign documents in advance unless instructed — many documents must be signed in the presence of the notary. Vet’s Place notary services are free for veterans (and may be limited based on availability). 8) Counseling & Confidentiality Counseling services are confidential, within legal and ethical limits. If you are in immediate danger or crisis, please call 911 or dial 988 (Veterans Crisis Line — press 1).
