Service Description

The Mental Health Referral Program provides veterans with timely connections to qualified mental health providers when immediate or appropriate care is not available through the VA Medical Center. Through this service, veterans receive confidential guidance, resource navigation, and personalized referrals to licensed therapists, counselors, crisis services, peer-support programs, and community-based mental health partners. The program ensures that veterans have access to supportive, professional care for challenges such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional stress. This referral service is not a replacement for clinical treatment but offers veterans reliable options and pathways to care when they need it most.
